Just thought i'd mention the fact that i'm on a 3 week holiday as of the 9th of June.

This coincides perfectly with the world cup, so a big HA HA HA HA to all you ppl who are going to miss matches through work/uni.

well i'm off 9-18th and i work in a pub so will see all matches regardless of if i'm working or not, sometime getting paid to watch it so HAHAHAHA :lol: :wink:

I'll be getting pissed in the pub whilst you'll have to stay sober and watch ppl like me getting pissed, then have to serve those pissed ppl more drinks at halftime. Also you'll be busy as ****.

nah mate the pub down the road has big screens ect and our pub just has one 28inch telly so we will be quiet most of the time :D leavin me to watch the game in piece as although its not a sports bar its not an old boys bar either, its basically the most expensive pub in the area (2.60 a pint for carling as against 2.15 down the road at the sports bar) so we tend to get the ppl in who arent chavs like down the road :D

anyway the point being i get to watch it too :lol:

i'm an ICT technician mon - fri, and we've just bought a PCI freeview card for one of the pc's. we've also got a direct feed from the aerial on the roof so it's a perfect picture.

so basically we're gonna havea pc showing the world cup in the background all day each day. :mrgreen:

aah, well if we're showing off I didn't want to mention it, but I have a 50" plasma next to me (yes, with Sky, all our TV's have it) and there's 2 more "42 plasma's I can see where I'm sat anyway... plus, for England games work closes early :D

only draw back is no HD, our plasmas are too old :cry:
