Has anybody converted their wipers to the valeo 900 series flat blade wipers or knows anybody who has put them on the front and back? If so where did you source them from and do you know the product code? If anybody can shed any light on this it would be very much apreciated.

new cars use different arms mate, you would need new wiper arms to fit those new flat blades

ive figured out the passenger side on the new Astra has the right size for mine but not sure if it would work or not

The Bosch Aeroblades use different arms the valeo ones use conventional arms you just need to get the right lengths which i have failed to find

cool

pretty sure mine are both 48cm but i might be wrong

the wiper arms did change on later clios so check whats on your car before you go buying any blades

I do need to double check that indeed the valeo flat blades fit on conventional arms. Once I find any that fit i will post a picture and inform all on where to get them from as they look a lot better than conventional wipers.

Having spoken the Valeo and various stockists they do a series of flat blades that fit on standard wiper arms as well as special arms. Valeo list cars against each size blade that they will be compatible with appart from the clio is not one of them. but having looked at those cars they are very standard and should fit with no problem. The following codes are the product codes for the flatblades

UM660 20" flat blade - compatible with: BMW E46, Peugeot 306, Renault Magane (not sure if mark 1 or 2 assume 1), Astra Mk4

19" flat blade - compatible with: Focus, skoda Fabia, Octavia, Golf Mk4, Vectra Mk4

21" flat blade - valeo rep did not have compat list too hand

I got some prices from euro carparts they cost between £11 and £12 each blade not for a pair. I will be going for two 20" blades once I can find a stockists but a 21" and a 19" blade may work with the 21" fitted on the drivers side and the 19" blade on the passengers side.

James

Hi Brun

I believe there is an 18" but you will have to contact valeo to confirm that on 01527 838300

They are in quieter more aerodynamic and work a lot better at high speed and they look really good on the car. My m8 put them on his audi rs4 and they look great lots of show cars put them on their cars.

My normal cheapish Bosh wiper blades from GSF work perfectly, so why change it......"if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Its just they are better in every way and forgot that they last up to 30% longer than conventional wipers. The main thing for me is they look better and work better at higher speeds. You have to see them to appreciate how much better they look

i have seen these n they look sweet, but am not sure how well they would go on an older looking clio, same reason that angel eyes just dont work on mk1 clios, they look too modern!
