Which should i use? I have them both here, and the grunt from the K&N is amazing, but i would like some performance increase... Any clues?

I'm swapping my k&n for a standard airbox and filter, enjoyed the noise for a year now, just want to see what it's like without the ik :D

Standard airbox any day pal! I changed mine recently and whilst the noise was immense from the K&N, the feel is so much more smoother from the standard airbox. Ive added an ITG filter too feels spot on!

How much is one of these filters? Its a shame, il miss the grunt but cant be arsed to fork out for a re-located one.

K & N , Piper Cross.. i have tested both... great noises... use alot of fuel and become sluggish in the summer

I now use a ram air panel filter... No poweless problems.. sounds great...

Been thinking of this myself, getting an induction kit.

The original air box is a big lump :)

Might get one to try it, if i dont like it ill go back to standard

Now its hot my pipercross saps the power. On cool evenings though it makes a noticable difference. Especially with a decent air feed

My induction kit is seriously lagging in the hot weather. seems to make more noise though, but just does'nt go anywhere. Gonna try and relocate it to left fog light as its broken anyway :)

Std airbox, I swapped from a piper cross, after making 95BHP at the wheels due ot high inlet temps, getting another run down now the standard box is back on, also noticed better pull slightly lower in the revs.

i have a r19 16v engine in my clio 16v i know they are near enuff identical but i couldnt get the standard clio 16v airbox to fit in between the battery and throttle body. i have a k&n but think its crap in hot weather r there any other decent induction kits?

ive gotta admit i do have my eye on this piper one
