my mate's dad built the original world record breaking ultima GTR!! But a couple of years ago, it was sold, engine got put into another car and and the chassis is the one you're all looking at, but with a new engine! Apparently the guy that has it now is loaded and has put loads and loads of money into it!!

How about we all club together and make a williams that quick!!

Awesome cars tho, love the ultimas!! :D

'kin ugly if you ask me...

I suppose most people could put together an aluminium space frame, fibre glass panels and then whack in a honking engine..

much prefer some higher class of engineering...

Are they road legal? How much are they?

Zollo
07-06-2006, 11:54
Completely road legal. New, they're anything from £40k to £80k dependant on spec (that's a very rough guideline). Developed by Lee Noble of M10, M12 and M14 fame 8)

True. If I was gonna spend out on a knob-extension then I'd want something alot less "Young Offenders' Motorsports Project" looking

Define knob-extension, in the context of cars. I'm confused :?

You can paint the car pink and put "Hello Kitty" decals all over the car and I would still want one :D

I thought the term covered anything flash or posey, but now it seems to be anything remotely expensive!

...and c£60k for a turnkey one isn't even expensive for Enzo beating performance. Pay even less and build it yerself.

There was one at ace cafe last night, was 'only' the 400bhp version, still looked and sounded awesome! Was funny the look on chav's faces trying to work out what the **** it was
