Went to look at a valver tonight - advice needed!

The car looked mint inside and out and drove really nice. Only thing was that when it started and revved it made a loud screaching noise!

Me not knowing anything about cars, I was wondering if you guys could give me a heads up on what the problem might be and how much it would cost?

Im thinking fan belt?

Took my first one off on the engine stand, can't imagine how hard it would be in the car, didn't help that the adjuster teeth were stripped tho lol
