That's GSD3.

GSD2 Below:

Check for the circled "E" mark though.

Well it doesn't have an e in a circle as such it has "E13" in a square and "E13" in a circle next to each other just past the "eagle f1"

Yeah, you got D3s. Week 44, 2003. Uhh.. shouldn't you be changing soon? Didn't know GSD3s have been out for so long.

AFAIK, both D3s and D2s were/are made in Germany and Thailand. I couldn't tell the diff between Thai or German made for GSD2s, both thai/German D2s behaved exactly the same and lasted for about as long (in terms of long-term grip level).

Note: finally track down some D3 locally, can't wait to get back to F1s. :)

There's 6mm of tread left lol - they're not going anywhere! They've been in storage for a while though so thats probably why..

Yours don't look right at all mate. Notice the ones below. Like mine, the one below has at least some of the grooves radiating to the outer edge. Yours don't appear to at all from that photo. :?

Maybe the cool dry climate is kinder to tyres. Over here, the rubber hardens quite rapidly after 2 years (stored or used). It's OK for regular driving but not for manhandling a car round corners. I usually look for freshly minted tyres just off the boat and throw them away after less than 15 months of use.

Actually that back one is the worst of the 4 for tyre wear - I think the lower it gets tread wise the more that end "channel" disappears

I think all is ok hopefully - they're the best tyres by far i've had on any car!

Good call, swervin. I missed that. It looks weird. :? How thin are those radiating grooves, maybe it could just be wearing down to the rubber surface. The other grooves on the outer edge do look a bit shallow.

the outer edges on the back tyres are a little rough, think they used to be on the front of a track car for a few laps!

Hold on....
