Yes, that's right, I got bored lastnite and, in the interest in saving weight, I decided to go strip some bits and bobs from the valver.

I never realised how much excess weigth she was holding until I had to move it all into the house :oops:

So that's back seats, parcel shelf, hefty sub box, spare wheel and cage

Makes a difference, she feels sooooo much more nimble :lol: :lol: :lol: As Mr TT225 found out this morning. Popping and banging on upchange is deffinately for the winners 8)

i know, it really does make a diff. :)

how did u get the spare wheel cage out? mine seems to be welded in the middle of the car. i presume its normall though. lol

It's a bit of a weird one.

I had to jack the back up a touch, drop the cage, then push the back of the cage up and manipulate it out of its holding towards the drivers side. You will see what I mean when the wheel is out of it.

Now for the carpet, sound deadening..headlining, plastic trim, seats..put in the thinner glass or perpex..with GRP doors

smaller bag style fuel tank....

Yep it should have a health warning! Once you start you cant stop! I blame martin letting me sit in the nana for how my car is now! (Thx mate!)

Yep, and leather seats with the subframes are 19kgs each. Cobra imolas are 6.5kgs each, so a hefty saving there!
