Shineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!

First and last time I spend that long on it - took so bloody long it was half dark when I took the pictures so half of em didn't come out!! :cry:

First off I fitted the Willy shelf instead of the 16v shitter that was in... much better... After fitting my spanking new rear lamps the other week I fit all new bulbs then I took out the boot carpet for a good scrubbing...

Next off I got cracking on the wheels - bit of a bastard when I was swapping over my old wheel bolts for new bolts and one snapped in the drivers front hub.. Arghhh!! Bugger it for now I'll get it sorted this week at some point - 3 will do for now!

Wheels done crack on with the body! Quick treatment of Kurust on the back arches - instantly better now its black rust instead of yellow rust but still needs some tlc....

Then it was time to finish the front end lights off - Note the all new sexy front end, brand new fogs, brand new indicators, brand new headlights with all new bumbs going in for good measure 8)

Then the good old scrub of the paint, I went over EVERY panel slowly to find any defects or damage I hadn't seen before - glad to say all was good I knew all the faults anyway but no more have crept in - might have to get a drivers door swap though the inside of the doors took quite a good battering over the years it looks like - very rust patchy...


But finally I was finished!!

Then I started to apply my secret paint protection...

Then the protection got bored and went inside to watch Top Gear instead...

All was well until I was dropping our lass off and noticed the grat big dollop of bird shit on the bonnet.....

yeh mate all gfs over a few weeks - the indicators arn't genuine parts but they're actually a better fit than the valeos were...

Best mod of the week by far was the Kurust treatment - for 449 owners its ace stuff - I know it turns the rust black but its quite light black and works so much better than yellow/orange!!
