Tuning?

Whats the best route of tuning for a valver?

I know of the willy route, but whats the outcomes of tuning the valver motor? Looking at spending 1k tops.

I.E. cams, chip, filter, decat, (maybe headwork)

Bike carbs?

talk to stan. but prob head work cams exhaust hillpower induction setup. or a two litre bottom end. depends how much work you can do yourself. and where you are in the country

Im up in York.

Im quite hands on and do nearly everything myself (well with help from my mates)

Just not too clued up on the best ways of tuning renaults (first one ive had - usually stick to my fords :oops: )

i did see a clio with bike carbs once, bug hole out the bonnet looked really wank lol, was an ebay job though

well try and find a 2.0 litre megane bottom end. fit a modified 1.8 head and then cams. after that thottle bodies. if you can do the work you should be able to get the bottom end and head done for your grand. then add cams later and then thottle bodies. nearest pro to you is nck at hillpower i think. stan is cheaper but futher away but still really good.
