i have modded my Gearbox breather, It now whines like a touring car straight cut dog box

I modded the gear box breather unit. i removed it and inserted a fuel pipe coupler in to the hole, 12 inch of clear pipe and placed the breather at rocker cover level...i was having probs with oil leaking)

a side effect of this mod was a great whining sound from the modded breather its funny as.

anyhow my BOX stats are:

1st; 45/50MPH
2nd:untested
3rd; 100mph
4th 140
5th lol somebody with balls of steel can have a go.(must have a advanced ticket and 3 years + of driving

what have u done to the box/ratios to reach them speeds?

How fast does it get to those speeds though is the acceleration slower than standard?

I'd say acceleration is as quick.. unknown till i test it. lol

its 4th gear when it comes in to its own but then its not mapped lol

Sounds cool. Would be nice with a turbo to boost the torque would pull like a train in 4th and 5th.

Update: the whiniing and leaking box from the start was not it seems due to an overfilled box, it is due to a seal inside thats gone, the whining mod lol.. its 4th and 5th Gear.. i think its about to blow up..lol

the whinings very loud.. im going try top up oil and add molyslip to the gearbox..

other than that its to Matt Browns for a new one ;-)
