To say me, gav and lauren have been lucky today is an understatement!!!!!

came off the track at the end of the time @ FCS and my car was shaking like a S**TIN dog, anyways i thought "woops fooked a wheel bearing" or something along them lines and decided to have a look when i got home!!

anyhow, on the way home this shaking was getting worse and worse, to the point where i nearly pulled over and had a look!!

just been out about 10 mins ago to have a look, all seemed fine, so jacked the car up and discovered that kwik fit hadnt tightend my wheel bolts up properly, none of em, and the near side front was almost off hence the shaking

bout shit myself at the thought of the wheel comin off goin round the track or at all for that reason!! TBH i should have checked them before i went out today but forgot but thats not the point!!!

They always torque the wheel bolts up to the recommended manufactures settings, but in my opinion thats never enough, bit of stamping on the wheel brace never goes amiss, found this out the hard way myself, TWICE, lucky you mate!!!!!

That was a close call, just as well luck was on your side.
Should moan to kwik fit about that, as they should of "torqued" them up.

i did a simila thing the other month....me n geezer lowered my car....was drivin around and had some vibration coming from the front...thought it was the wheels rubbin on the arches

l8r discover neither of us had tightened the wheel bolts on neither front wheels :?
