Noticed i ahve pretty low oil pressure, certainly lower then teh f7r engine

Swapped for brand new silkoline 5w40, so i know its not hte oil now, can't get teh pressure voer 4 bar when cold, and when its hot and idling it has zero pressure, driving along at 50/60 it has about 1.5 bar

I know this isn't right for the willy engine, but does a valver engine generally have lower oil pressures, temps etc are fine, no smoke etc meaning ****ed piston rings, and no oil burning

Willy engine was right up to 6 bar when cols, 4 bar at 70/80, and around 3 bar when driving at 50/60

Looks like i've got a probeem then lol

My valver:

2.3ish bar idle cold.

1bar idle when oil is at 100 deg.

2.5 - 3 bar between 60-70mph

3bar + when 80mph.

I consider this to be good oil pressure, its a 92 valver engine thats covered 98k miles.

Yeah that sounds about right, any ideas why mine is so low?

Could be worn bearings or oil pump.
As long as the light doesn't come on don't worry about it.

Not massivly fussed tbh, engines only gonna be in there a month, but dont' wanna sell a dodgy engine
