Must be good mate me mam asked me to turn it down after 15 minutes cos the bass was drowning the noise of the telly out. When I get back to my flat later i'll stick it on my proper stereo and see how many complaints I get.

Got it now. Havent finished listening to it yet but it's better than te albums I've bought in the last year. Lovin the Lion Dub, badman tune!

BTW the one after Lion Dub is "So Vain" by Breakage. This new-fangled Interweb lark is amazing - I stuck my copy of D&B Arena into the CD tray, and lo-and-behold, Media Player found all the track listings automatically!
I tell you, computers will make us their slaves one day 8-[

Its not. ;)

Its Jah Promise by Dan Miracle on Chronic Recordings, however, it was never meant to be released and i acquired test press.

Hence i cant lable it or i'll have MCPS round my house to shake things up :)

I've been checking my extensive record collection (er, the Chemical Records website!). your track listing is in the wrong order. Track 6 isn't "4 Me". It's a quality tune tho. What is it?

I dunno anything technical about DJ'ing but that seems like a ****ing good mix to me. The Voodoo Chile ending's heavy! Have you ever sent a mix into 1Xtra?

Track 6 is a grey area, its either Staggered Dub or 4 Me....The general concensus is that its Staggered Dub, but list it as 4 me because of the vocal...There was a rumour the presses went out with the wrong label.

ITs not a great mix, very rough in places. I know most of the DJ's at 1xtra and most the DJ's on the scene one way or another, it has it perks, but works against me too :(

Que?

Hey you might be able to answer a question that's been bugging me for ages. What exactly is an "Amen"? I gather it's a break or something, but what from? I could've asked on the 1Xtra message board but I thought asking such a question on there would be like asking what a piston is on here!

The scene works on who you know principle, and as such knowing certain people means others dont give you the time of day.

The Amen, is a drum break from a funk track called Amen Brother by the Winstons.
