16v/williams?

support engine, remove side mount
remove aux belt
remove all pump
fit new

something along those lines! its tricky cos of lack of space.
tip: use the jack ur supporting engine with to lower/raise the engine to help u get on awkward bolts.

With alot of time and patience, cleaning the old gasket off is interesting with about 1" of room to move in

will be an energy engine most likely. Easy to do just like stan said,

support engine,
top mount off,
timing covers off including the plastic one that covers the water pump.
drain coolant,
loosen tensioner nut to slacken cambelt,
Undo bolts holding pump to bottom end,
use a bit of liquid gasket around the marked area on the new pump,
get rid of the old crap gasket compound on that bottom end,
install new water pump, do up all bolts etc,
transfer tensioner bearing to the new waterpump,
tension cambelt and do up the nut,
covers back on,
top mount on,
new coolant,
done.
