hi,

i've finally started getting round to rebuilding my williams engine. i've just took the head off the block, and have noticed some score marks on the pistons.

i've checked all the valves, bores etc and they all seem perfect. is there anything else i should check to make sure it hasnt been caused by something else?

are the williams pistons the same as the 16v ones?

thanks,

craig

Photos?
Earlier damage perhaps, and id say no the williams pistons arent the same as the 16v not 100% sure though maybe the 200cc difference lies in crank throw

16 and willy pistons are different.

What marks are you talking about on the pistons? If its 4 valve shaped marks on each of the crowns they're meant to be there as i got caught out on that one lol
