Battery light?!

:cry: Just noticed battery light is not coming on when i put the ignition on? Sure it used to ? Spose ill have to have the dash apart just to change the bulb !! I presume thats wot it is !! Could it be something else ?car starts and runs spot on ?
What plugs do people recommend - NGKs ? If so what number are they ? Fancy treating my baby to a pep up leads dizzy cap rotor arm etc. :)
