how to remove rear bearing / press new one in

as there a prefered way to remove the old bearing and press in the new one?

is there any speshal tool i need before i start?

Hydrolic press

I've seen it done using a high lift ramp, and a big vice for the front ones

Local garage will usually do it for a fiver - tenner

hmmmm cool, i need to get the bearings 1st, but i think i'll ringing round some local garages in the morning :)

I don't know how it's done on the 16v but from what I've read it seems as though you HAVE to replace the bearings when you replace the discs, is that the case?

Bearings are pressed inot the discs, you CAN remove the bearings and press old ones inot new doscs, but they are £20 each, may as well replace them when you replace discs

or buy discs with em already fitted

well i had the bearings pressed in, and now the circlips wont go in, apprently the little groove for them to sit in isnt right (hasnt been machined right when made.) so now i cant get them in to get the disc and bearing back on! :roll:

i think im just gonna buy the discs again with the bearings and everything alread in.

where's best for them? i've been told that andrew page are good because they use original renault parts.

is there anyone else thats good and how much?
