This isn't for real is it?

It has 242 bhp at the wheels. That would be close to 300 bhp at the fly, wouldn't it, from a normally aspirated 2 litre?

Then it says it was from a 2l Renault 19. They didn't do any did they? Or maybe it was 2l since it had this engine in, but the engine code is F7P... when a 2l engine code would start F7R, wouldn't it?

And has the JB3 gearbox with it, when a JC3 would be more likely with a 2 litre?

Something doesn't look quite right about this one, to my eye, but if it really does make that kind of power it could be a good buy?

Yeah I saw this and laughed......... In fairness to the guy he does say it was the F7P block board out to a 2.0..............but there is no way he has 242bhp from what he said was done to the engine

Oh, I didn't notice that bit. Thought it said something about engine 'originally from a Williams' or something. Anyway, I forgot to post the item number so can't see it any more!

Yeah, through feedback found the original listing now...

Presume the guy that won didn't want it when he found it was an F7P? The relisted one says it could be bored to 2 litres, but the original listing definitely said 'originally from a Williams' which means it would be a 2.0 and a F7R. Also that listing said it was 'dyno tested at 242 bhp' but now it makes 'max 170-180'. Why would you think that if you knew it did 242 bhp on a dyno? This was 'at the wheels' as well! 170-180 at the fly now sounds realistic but how much of the other stuff is correct?
