View Full Version : interesting fact about mk1 16v/williams wing mirrors

the passanger side mirror has more plastic trim on it than the drivers side ( plastic trim thats bolted 2 the door) and i think it also sits at a diferent angle!


had my willy2 since june last year and only just noticed this...mates had his valver bout 18 months and he only noticed when i pointed it out :shock:

any1 else spotted this?

think he works in motorworld. motorworld sell the replacement glass too, supplied by summit i believe

Is anyone else's drivers side one hinged and loose?

My passenger one is fixed hard, but the drivers side you can move backwards and forwards....is it supposed to be like that? or a french quirk?

the nipple under the mirror is a ambient temp sensor

also intresting fact
spark plugs used in a valver are the same as citroen saxo vtr/picasso 1.6
/C3 1.4

also the washer fluid is the same as a porsche 911 :lol:
