I've always wondered if you can use the F7 engine on an S7 type car :?:

to be fair you may as well either sell it on for £££ or use it in another shell, if your gonna use it for the track personally i'd rather have a good working order engine thats gonna get hammered round a track as against a high miler thats not likely to last as long, however be a lado and PM me a b/e price if your gonna sell

use your old engine in the newun... it'll cost too much to get the other one in the same spec and condish imo. just try not to cut this one up too much, they are unsafe in a crash as it is...

the old engine seemed a good strong fast engine, would be silly not to use it again imo

Put the engine in the Williams, along with any other decent aftermarket bits from the Hybrid.

Yup sounds the bet.
What would be a lightweight project? if it wasnt a clio there are better engines out there which would be more suited.

Right cheers for the opinions fellas... it's looking like I'm gonna keep the engine & manifold to put in the willy and flog the rest so keep your eyes peeled if you want any bits....

Running 2 cars is just too pricey imo...oh and the willy will be staying stnd in every way apart from the engine :)

thats sensible thinking there martin.

not what i wanna hear, but it makes sense.

some great things to be had off the hybrid, such as those windows, and seats.

is the owt wrong with the high mileage engine in ur willy2?

The engine seems fine drives/pulls ok but I would'nt want to subject a 128k engine to a hard track thrashing....

tbh mate........id leave the engine in........til u blow it lol.

wen u do....swap engines over

course choice is urs like....but id be tempted to do that. then u still have a workin lump, with one ready for u to learn how to rebuild it, in ur own time.
