my starter packed up yesterday, i went and bought a new one, and its looks exactly teh same as the old one, but it wont sit on the one dowel that is there, if fitted without the dowel, you can just hear it spinning up but not engaging the flywheel, does the dowel really make that much difference or is the new starter a dud?? any help guys please iam stuck!!
