Fitted my new supersprint manifold and decat pipe the other day after my downpipe snapped in half !!!!

All I can say is.,..

OH MY GOD !

Not only does it sound awesome, I can certainly feel the difference.

Ever since I had my car the downpipe has been blowing, now its all fixed up the car is running how it should, plus more !

Lets just say im torque steering all over the place now! w00tage ! :D

very happy !!! :D

the only weak link in my exhaust system is the mid section now... (standard), so I hope to see another improvement once this is replaced.

I will probably replace my Scorpian backbox aswell, if anyone is interested... its gold, from prima racing.

Going for full supersprint system.

decat-midsection gasket £5
8 new manifold studs+nuts £30

Total: £405

I didn't need the manifold studs+nuts in the end and these were expensive lil buggers ! 3quid per stud ! So if anyone is in any need of some, let me know cuz I will sell this for cheap to you :)

your new set up sounds good but going back up the thread a bit, ref the scorpian back box, if you sell that how much you looking for?? i've bought a scorpian middle section thinking it would fit my magnex b/box but doesn't :cry:

What where the symptoms of your downpipe failure just out of curiosity?

around 3-4k when putting my foot full down in a high hear the car would make a whoohsing air sound with a bit of a rasp, pretty much like rushing air out of an exhaust, didn't quite sound loud enough to be the regular kind of farting sound you get from a hole further down the system though.

Anyways when it cracked enough the exhaust fell off straight away as soon as i put my foot down. Thats quite a bit of pressure those pipes have to deal with, so not surprising.
