Parked on the M1

was heading southbound to rugby on saturday to go to my mates for her birthday, got on junction 36 sheffield, went under a gantry just before junction 35 as 'M1 CLosed J35' flashed up, no time to react n missed the junction.

as such got stuck with around 200 other cars as the motorway was closed. some poor guy ploughed into a tree, killed himself outright. was mad, police turned us round n sent us back up the wrong way to J35!

not 1st time either, when 1st passed me test went to see me nan in coventry n there was a fatality n both carriagways shut for 8 hours, was
playin jumpers for goalposts on the northbound carriageway for 2 hours that time.

Wierd situation to be in to be fair though. I've had to slow down and watch a minor accident happen infront of me but thats about it.

turns out to be an asian run into central reservation, hit a tree at some pace and ended up with steerin wheel through his chest.i was at northern general hos and all his family was there awaitin reports.not sure how many others were involved

Its a dodgy bit of road that its one of my regular "see how fast I can go" parts of motorway at night but when its busy its crap.

I've been parked up on the M25 before, and on an A road off it, round heathrow way A3 possibly, couple of cars collided, filtered past over massive speed humps down this side road, saw teh old coroners van too.

Been a few times on teh A46 when i've turned my engine off stuck in traffic too
