Started at around 3pm..

his car behind my beast... showing that his car really needed lowering!!


after much messing around, very tight bolts, loads of WD40 and shitloads of swearing, we finally managed to get the shocks out and put the springs on...

Did one side, did the other...but then it was toooooo dark, so couldn't do the back... will do that tomorrow.. but went for a spin.. no problems and looks wicked

Get a big ass breaker bar, don't need WD-40 then :lol:

Phase 3 have a closed torsion bar?

Finally got his sorted, think we lowered it a bit too much at the back but looks sweet.

Was strange as i didnt know the difference between closed and open tbh. It looks the same as mine which was open however jacking the torsion bar up did nothing to the hubs. Just had to jack up the hubs instead.

It took us a good 5 hours to do the torsion bar, it was siezed solid and would not budge. Even after chopping the 10mm bolt down to get a breaker bar on it didnt work as the breaker bar snapped the bolt in half leaving half of it in the torsion bar. Had to devise a plan to get it out. Finally got it finished at 9.50pm. We started around 1pm :oops:
