Keep thinking about selling the Williams because I don't like using it for track days. But what to do?!?!

M3 and Teg will be quite a bit more money than a Hybrid, but I fancy a change. Oh, I dunno

keep williams ive put! can see point in swapping to a hybread, and as u say e30 m3 and teg are expensive!

Is that the circa '99 Integra Type-R? Would be very nice track car when stripped. Don't quite fancy the newer shaped ones (though still very decent cars), just not as sharp as the original Integra Type R.

I was very very close to buying a VXR astra... i even nearly sign the finance deal..lol

there so easy to chip and tune to 300bhp..they look the nuts, and they go like shit off a shovel... i still may invest..but keep the hybrid.

or initiate my other plan lol.

integra mate, with jackson s/c

Hybrid i put.

After seeing the way Flans car went and sounded has really got me thinking. Can't do it to a williams though. I'd sell willy tomorrow to buy a 20v turbo'd hybrid.

Yep, older shape Purple. I can get one for about £5.5 to £6k which is mighty tempting!

Richy - I want something a little more extreme, but don't want to mod a mint Williams which is (hopefully!) worth £3.5k. Plus, crashing wouldn't be such a big deal if it was a tatty Valver.

true, but same goes for the teg and E30 M3, alot of money to have a prang!

but saying that ive seen alot of cars worth a hell of alot more then ours being hammered around track! (obviously ive got wrong job lol)

what about E30 325 etc? alot cheaper then a m3 and i thought they wasnt far off on spec wise

I'm hoping one of u rich homo's will buy it....

If I had something already to tow it with and just needed a trailer I would have bought it already.....too much hassle to get it on the road and that's not where it should be....

Zollo - Sell the Williams for the Cup and tow it with the 306???

Get the Teg, you wont get 220bhp ATW with any of the rest without BIG money thrown at them, but the Teg's tune up for fun

Gaz, thanks for the additional vote, but I'm not having a diesel as my only road car!

Richy, you're right, Teg and M3 would be even worse to crash. However, the Teg is fast enough to outweigh that negative, and, well, I've always wanted an E30 M3! :P

I'm narrowing it down to a Hybrid or Teg I think. Is the Teg £3k though...

Maybe go for a possible change zollo, sell the williams, try the teg, if you don't like it, move onto a hybrid, but to be honest with those sort of cars you shouldn't lose much on them if ur not happy!

You should try them first. I reckon you'd have a Teg if you drive one. Not that I've done so yet.

I'm not selling up 'til I can afford a S2 11R. Had a p-ride at Ty Croes and they're fooking great.

Seems I'll be getting a Teg then! Thought a Hybrid would get the most votes tbh :?

Williams will stay for a good few months yet though 8)

I don't have your staying power Purple! Would love to keep it, but I couldn't justify keeping a car and hardly ever using it :(

To be honest, if it had not been so reliable, I would have sold the Williams long time ago. The replacement car I was looking at was either a circa '99 Integra 4door Type-R(and probably would have if it had been slightly softer) or a massively upgraded E30 320i (a BMW nutter specced up to whole car for me). So, you are going down the same route as I would have taken.

Heh, but these days, I have also added a Toyota AE86 and tuned classic Mini on my list; if I need an third car when my boy learns to drive. Shh... don't tell the wife. :)

Why the 320? Tax issues for anything over 2.0 where you are?

Yep, that's the one.

If the mechanic knows what he's doing - the 6-pot Beemer engine looks exactly the same, whatever the capacity, to a car safety inspector

OR SO I HEAR O:)

I voted the teg too.... but my second vote would be to keep the williams 8)

Valver - no point, as it's worth similar money at the end of the day

beemer - possible.... not sure it's fast enough though

That's my concern with the Beemer too. Maybe when I have enough money to get a straight-six fitted to it I'll go that route

Guy that had that E34 525M that I sent you the pics to has now got an E30 touring. And a E36 328 lump. and an M diff.
