my car is really tappin at the mo! very very loud! its embarassing! :oops:
and the fan has stopped working so trys to overheat all the time! :roll:

fan is an easy fix..(split wires or a blown fuse.)

tapping can be reduced by an oil change,, if oil is low this will cause a tap.

particularly on start up.

use halfords mineral oil for 500miles... that should reduce the tapping. also throw in some wynns hydraullic lifter treatment..that will help also.

I bought a set of these off ebay for my rebuild! Bit of a bargain really
considering renault charge about £27 for one and my local motorfactor i think charged £8 for one.
