Its the milometer that is broken!

Its not a major problem putting different clocks in, but would be best if it were at 93k rather than 131k

Im sure someone on here was on about it a while back? northy maybe?

Quickest way is to remove the speedo, remove the plastic crap around it so you only have the unit and the numbers.

Then usinging a small/thin flat screwdriver insert it at the top of the number cylinder, then just push the numbers around to your desired mileage.

Simple

i decided fook it, couldnt get it done....

so today ive done 37k miles. LOL

There must be a "proper" way to do it, rather than everyones differing ways.

Drill aint an option...

The spindle with the display is pressed onto the clock unit, so wont come off. I dont see anyway of prising the digits apart enough to rotate them...

looks like im doing **** all 2nite, so mite have a bit of fun!

as the beers get drunk my methodology might change for the worse....

bring on the hammer! lol

lol it's easy to do mate! experiment with your old clocks...

take the back screws out so the outer surround is away... undo the clear screen thing, take off the needle etc take the black plastic bit off with the mph on, then take the miles unit thing out...

get a flat screwdriver, and on the first two digits (the 1 and the 3 from the 131k) lift it up, then move the plastic bits around till the first one says '0' and the second one says '9'), then it'll be 091k miles etc...

shit that's sounds complicated but it's not honest! 8)
