View Full Version : Compression Tester - Which one will fit ?

i wanna get one of these but most wont fit down the long plug holes on these engines

tried Ebay but none are long enough

anyone recommend one that they know will fit ?

ive got a mac one that fits, it jsut got a rubber hose that goes all the way down the holes! just wind in the threads with the hose connected, then conncet up the dial at the end! all sorted!

i wouldnt have thought you would be able to get a decent seal by just twisting the hose though mate ?

its allways worked for me! did my 200sx by the method and it come up only 10 psi less the recommened spec after 97k, so i must av got a pretty good seal!

When i borrowed one, it was a snap on one, and that fitted well.

halfrauds sell a gunson jobby for 15quid.. worked for me.

it doesnt look long enough mate the Gunson one to go down the hole and get a good seal

its not quite long enough but u can twist the rubber hose and it does seal ;)

uses a rubber o-ring on the end. works fine mate.
