View Full Version : brake bias valve
how do i adjust it and how do i calculate the brake ratio so its back to 70 - 30 now my cars lower at the back than the front?
havnt looked in2 it yet but thought id stick a post up while im online 8)
no1 knos?
this could be a first
lets just hope its cuz its the weekend and every1s out getin pissed
there is a locking nut on it. loosen it, and move the nut along the screw thread until it suits you!
its just a matter of playing around with it, till you get it the way you like!
im not 100% happy with mine yet!
i THINK the tighter you have it, the more rear braking is done, and the more slack the less rear braking effort!
move the lever towards the front of the car for more braking bias and towards back for less.
Best to test it in the wet down a hill, just be ready to get off teh brakes if teh back end starts kicking round
cheers 4 the info lads :)
or set it up on brake rollers at the mot station
