speed/power problems?

just had a renault 19 16v engie fitted in my car...

first, second and third gear the car is fine (get about 92mph in third) then once in fourth it stuggles, takes aaaaaages to get over a ton...

any ideas?

i just had this mate, check the airflow into the throttle body is not blocked, my airffeed into the o/e airbox collapsed n was stoppin the air gettin in so topped out at 115 n took forever to get there!

had same prob with mine after fitting new bottom end... it got to 115 in 5th and that was it.

oil flush and injector cleaner.

works a treat now.

failing that, get a compression test done.

I thought moving your seat forward so you could fully reach the pedal, sorted it?
