Anyone know where the cheapest place is thats going to do some good work?

So far for a full rebuild, clean, head skim, pressure test, valves lapped, etc etc £185 and it's round the corner and he builds touring cars, anywhere cheaper?

A place called Road and Rally, apparently been going for years a couple of my mates use them!

But they were v.honest and genuine with me, I asked if it was a good idea to get any headwork done and they said if your not putting cams in it and it's a pretty standard engine then there's not much point as they are well built heads anyway!

THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH SKIMMING LOL

skimming, its a preference.

Nothing really wrong with it, but i've yet to see someone who skims do it to any decent finish.

Grinding ensures 100% perfect surface flatness and finish quality.

If you ever buy anything 'precision' flat or smooth its ground.
