Where the bolt clapms teh 2 bits of metal that grips the top of the bal joint, drive a big screw driver int ehre to seperate them, hub lifts off then.

Witrht eh track road arms, loosen nut off, put something under hub to support it and smack the top with a hammer.

....or buy a big drive in seperator

Managed it, lunner you got the part number for the bearing?

i got them from GSF, he said there was two sizes and gave me the bigger one, which looking at it looks huge compared to the bearing in the hub.

The part number ive got is 7701 205 779

Just come to tighten them back up and the track rod end ball joint just keeps spinning, really pissing me off as i cant tighten the nut.

Any tips on how to stop it spinning?

jack under it with a block of wood on teh jack head, put som pressure on the underside so it pushed the joint inot the hub usually works

Did that and it now has gone it.

Finally finished after having loads of problems. Mental note next time dont just twat things as threads are damanged and bolts dont go on properly.

Next thing on the list i think is bleeding the brakes, they feel proper shit now :(
