SUMP???????????Ph1 -Ph2

I have been lead to beleave that Ph1 valvers have a smaller/shallower sump than a ph2 is this true and will it fit my ph2 engine??

Would you need to change the pickup pipe aswell if its too close to the bottom of the sump it'll pick all the shit up.

well when i had all my engine troubles mine had a crack in the sump and the one i got off infinicar was a different one to mine and it fit fine! it was a little tighter to the subframe but its been in there for a good 6 months now and no problems

Just get a sump guard lol....problems sorted

Don't think its the size of the sump that differs, more the baffles inside.
I'll have a look at the ones in the garage when i go in.
