Oooops!
Not satisfied with some 3 wheels action and maybe even some 2 wheel action...I accidentally got some no wheel action at Anglesey! lol
Anyone got a nice clean valver shell? :wink:

Happened at Douglas Mat....Just looking at the vid..it seems I was asleep behind the wheel lol Had been lifting off round there all day to good effect to get the car pointing down the straight ...but I was very late and by trying to save a lost cause I caused it to snap back and go over...don't think it even dug in just gripped maybe.

Looking on the bright side lol the car was feeling spot on all day.....nice lift off oversteer and good front end grip from the avons. A guy came over to chat to me about the car and he said he'd timed me at 54.4 for a lap which is a fair bit quicker than I did in the nana..

Think they just gripped mate....which is what they are supposed to do to be fair lol Just I fvcked up....I think road tyres may have washed out or they could folded over and the rims might dig in and get the same result who knows?

its obvious:
the wheels were on full opposite lock(overcorrect) that caused it to go over.
the grip was that good on the tyres they didnt slide but keeled it.
1) Martin is still alive
2) Dr Brown the pioneering surgeon, has found an organ donar with a shell.
3) lol LTR can drop the engine in for you..

I reckon there's more to it than that! For a start, the more opposite-lock, the less chance it's going to flip-over as the front wheels are pointing the way the car wants to go. And I've seen plenty of semi-slick shod cars spin rather than roll over.
By the way Martin, you did well to keep quiet! I'd have screamed like a girl :P

It's avo spring & shocks lowered 35mm front stnd back...was feeling very good.
cheers everyone btw was no damage done to me apart from a ickle cut on my hand from glass...was bit scary getting stuck in the harness for a while took me a full minute to get out with fuel pissing out the tank! :shock:

it's not for lack of care, I've ploughed shit loads of money into this car, more than anyone else on here has even dreamt about (or been stupid enough). I couldn't give a **** now, but that's because everytime I spend money people tell me "yeah, will be fine now, what else can go wrong".
Heard that far too many times, and guess what? same shit again and again. Fix the breaks, replace the lot, then they **** up a month later... nowt to do with me that, I rarely drive the car hard, rarely bother with meets etc etc... I dont enjoy the car or trust it, so just go a to b, but it still does it's own thing. sorry for hijack, but offer still stands to either of you, the shell is fine as i said, mechanically it's got something wrong, even though most of its new...

not the only one... finding an M3 GT isn't an easy task... then once you find one it's the condition it's in... they only made 50 so I'm still looking :cry:

Oh ye was gonna say when you put the engine in another car make sure you drain all the oil out first, refill and then take the LT lead off and turn it over without firing it. That should hopefully get the oil going round a bit as while it was running upside down it may have starved it of oil a bit.
