56k... (why bother)

Thought I'd give the valver a proper clean today. Did a bit of work on it too, for the first time in a while-
Re-mounted all the exhaust properly, fixed up an inner arch lining and then fixed some of the radiator surround that had fallen down.

Trying to work on a car which is so low it refuses to even let a trolley jack get under is piss annoying! After that I gave it a proper wash (with inbuilt wax) and then took some pics.

Had to re-size them, the hi-res ones i'm really pleased with.

Also, whilst working under it realised how lucky I am to have a car that's 13 years old looking like this underneath...

It's a sub that weighs as much as a house! (I swore i'd never have one as well!!!) I got given it and its been great for winter as the cars only been used for work.

It will all be coming out for summer though as thats when the windows go down and the natural sound of a valver is much better than any music IMO

Dave...if I had the money TB's would be the way forward- but it's not always so easy.

I have some harnesses here but nothing to match them with. I'm thinking a bit of rear seat removal, a couple of nice buckets seats and a rear cage could work quite well :D

Coopies tip of the day

if your valver is too low for a trolley jack, simply roll the jack through gap between wheel and arch and then slide sideways along the sill to jack lifting point!

Still won't work Coops! Had to use the old 'driving onto blocks of wood trick' and lift it nearly 2 inches just to get the jack under

Aah it's all good fun!

I have to drive mine onto some 3" high bricks if I want any chance of getting the jack and a bit of wood under. Will be interesting when I fit the 13s lol.

The car looks great btw wish mine shone like that.

Wheels are Team Dynamics Monza's :D

I've got a Magnex S/S cat back.... my god does it pop like a bitch, especially if you hit revs near the redline then back off.

I had my girliest of girl mates sat in the car the other day, asking me to make it pop as it sounded so good...aah another one won over
