mine are
red - yellow 5.82kohms
red - green 2.30kohms
yellow - green 3.90kohms
how far out do they need to be, whats an acceptable variance ?
Thanks Lunner

 sounds technical, i think i'll leave it alone
how do you adjust them ?
i think the question is....wtf is a TPS :?
Throttle Position Sensor

how do u test it ???
measure resistance between differnet wires.
See if you had paid attention in your GCSE pohysics lessons you'd know this ;)....school really was useful lol

Brun, these figures you got from lunner, are they the maximum acceptable variance?
I.E. no higher than them figures?
no they are what i got when i put a multi meter accross the pins
Anyone know how to adjust using mvs? i have just adjusted tps on a ducati and wonder if its the same way?
or anyone can explain using the meter to adjust? I had the meter on the two wires and set to 150mv. i wonder if the clio williams tps can be adjusted the same way? but anyone know what the value is or where to set? eg let off throttle or set at tickover?
Dan
ps car is running high revs after accelerating. have checked the accelerator cable. runs ok only occasional on full throttle, take foot off and the revs are around 2500??
have just found the reading from r to g is over 2000. not 2.o1. guess i need a new tps. anyone local to Croydon have one?
Dan
Throttle Position Sensor
(This is the values when testing the wires/terminals on the ECU connector)
(Ignition on - Engine not running)
Terminals 9 & 17 - 0.2volts (throttle closed)
Terminals 9 & 17 - 4.7volts (throttle fully open)
Terminals 16 & 17 - 5volts
Brun i have just replaced with a second hand tps and the values are the same as one replaced. are the values you give exact?
otherwise i will have to source another one.
ps do you think it is the tps. fault is on full throttle. the revs return back to 2/3k not tick over....
Dan
the values i gave from my last post, when testing @ the ECU pins for voltages, they should be spot on, they are from AutoData
brun am i able to chekc the figues with the ecu connected...
Dan
if your very careful then probably
