when i bought my car the lambda was disconnected, when i conncet it up it would idle horrible, up and down all the time, i got a 2nd hand one for cheap, this one is exactly the same, my car was chipped and mapped by prima racing, could this be causing this effect? or did i buy a dodgy lambda again? should i just stop being tight a buy a new one!!

maybe try disconnecting the battery
iv read the chip resets its self so while it is unplugged for an hour or 2 reconnect the lambada it may then take in to account the lambada and reset accordingly
worth a try hope it helps

the one you got, was it from a car that had done a lot of mileage

they dont last forever and you get a few bad ones, they have a life just like anything else, which is about 50-70k

get a new one

Shake the lamba if it rattles its ****ed.

Symptoms of a ****ed lamba are teh revs will dip down to almost tsalling and then rev up to 1.5k ish and when you first drive off when cold its hesitant, and then will suddenly pick up.

Once its hot its fine

get a new one or if your tight get the lambda out and use a blowtorch to recover it, it works most of the time.
