ive had it in the RT and GTT engines before and it does work

Yeah, makes the water temp needle more responsive when the fan cuts in. But I don't think you need it unless you plan on driving the Clio in much hotter climate.

I've got it in mine because I had a spare bottle knocking about. It definetley makes a difference to mine I prefer how it works compared to fitting a low temp fan switch.

Used like 10 bottles over period of 2 years sometime ago. IIRC, was about 7 pounds a bottle. It does make the water temp come down faster once there's air flowing past the rad fins. But can't find local supply of the stuff anymore. Car works just fine in 40C plus tarmac heat with normal Renault coolant. But would still buy some, if I can find it locally.

if your really interested, a drop of washing up liquid reduces the skin tension of the coolant by about the same value as water wetter.
