^^^ But if you have the dors open you'll get dust in the paint, not knocking it but i seriously recomend he gats an oxygen feed mask..

2pack i deadly, it contains sionide (sp)

Flan when using 2 pac does it have to ahve an oxygen feed or willa respirator do with filters to filter out toxic vapours

Gav

Lunner you can use a respirator for a small amount of time (for spraying a bonnet etc its fine) but for doing a whole car you need the full oxygen fed mask and its best to wear an all in one suit aswell as it can go through your skin.

A bloke my mate used to work for used to spray 2 pack with no protection at all he used to take the piss out of my mate for putting all the gear on. He's now dead from the paint poisoning him.

Yeh just make sure you spray it then go straight out of the garage and leave it for a bit for the fumes to clear. The first sign of stinging eyes or a runny nose get out of the garage

nah depends if you were using 2 pack or cellulose paint, i've sprayed with cellulose paint before and i got shit loads of fluid on my lungs, so brought a mask

Is they 2 pac not used anymore? I used the Renault cans that have a metallic paint and a lacquor. Are they ok?

I'm guessing so mate, I think spray cans have a different type of paint in them comared to what the likes of Wiliams_Jr's dad is using.

Cellulose is as bad for you as 2 pack its just not as widely known. You wont do much damage if you barely spray anything, but with prolonged exposure you could.

£500 for a respray alone is a fooking bargin, let alone rebuilding arches etc....althoguh if i was paying for a full respray i'd want a proper job doing, doors and boot etc off and all inside them done

Gav
