Hi Guys

Just seeking advice on the value of a clio have agreed to buy but price is not set as yet so looking for some advice on it the car spec is as follows:

Clio williams 2 with 75,000 miles

-Willwood brake kit with rally discs which are heat treated operate upto 800 C and new pads which are rated up to 1000 C which have had one track day @ bedford couple of weeks ago and light driving since. Plus spare set of Heat treated rally discs and standard rear pads.

-stiffer springs all round with ayo damper adjustable shocks @ the rear
-Powerflex bushes all round
-Spare set of williams gold wheels two with yoko semi slicks and other rubbish tyres for bit of fun + two semi slicks which have good few trackdays left if can be repaired.
-couple of spare oil filters plus enough millers oil for one oil change
-Fairly new set of Toyo proxies
-Mot done a week ago with all very minor stuff
-10 months tax
- Magnex catback exhaust
- Full service history until my m8 owned it all receipts and of any work not undertaken by my m8.
-No Arch Rust
-Strut brace

bad point are bumper needs repray cus paint is peeling
and bonnet slightly out of alignment where new one was fitted after ding and usual stonechips and troller dents for car of that age and wheels are not perfect but with good clean will look lot better.

How much do you think should be paying roughly speaking.

many thanks regards

from James

If it drives nicely and has no problems apart from what's describe, up to £3,500. If it's a bit of a dog to drive and looks rougher than described, £2,000 and a bit.

Condition and drive are all with these cars. Spec, age, mileage, etc mean very little.

It's my car not Marks although he did supply the brakes, springs and various oils - does anyone know where he has gone?

It is setup as a track focused road car with 220lb springs, gearbox and power steering mod and the rest Jarb has mentioned.

Over the two years it has been used on track it has been maintained with no expence spared incl oil changes every 1-2 track days, cam belt every year along with brake fluid/gearbox oil. The engine is a peach with 137bhp at the wheels (airfilter, decat and magnex)

I thought we had agreed a price Bill!! and for someone looking to get started on trackdays this is the perfect car to do it in.

If anyone else is interested in this car please pm questions or offers.

over £500 spent in the last few weeks - NEW toyos, trackrod end, Brake pads all round, 12 months Tax, MOT.

Cheers

it is hard to call the price havent seen the car but for me ...

it has spent most of its life on the track so obviously it will be not standard and in show room condition and because it hasd been tracked will put people off he states himself the body work needs attention ...

track cars go between the £2000 and £2800

hope i havent offended fella

No sorry Bill. My friend J.a.r.b is called Bill and is selling his Mx5 to buy the Williams

The car has been on track less than 10 times.
