Are Clio Williams fitted with an immobilser as standard? As my insurance are asking for proof of one!
Also, as i only have one key with the r/c part on it, is it possible to get replacements just in case i loose it. If so how much would one cost?
Cheers.

Unfortunately the car came without service history, as the former owner has it stolen from the glove box!!
It is a Williams One and there is no evidence of an alarm siren under the bonnet. If it hasnt got one, should i fit an original one ?

After taking off the trim around the ignition barrel I found an elctronic ring sensor, so i presume that it has a sensor in the key and hence and imobiliser fitted. However how can i prove that to the insurance, could i get some kind of documentation from Renault.
Also where can i get a second key from?

Thanks for the replies so far.
