speedo stops working sometimes?

often when on the motorway at higher speeds the speedo stops working, thought it seems completely random.
whats the cause of this and how do i fix it?

Try pushing the cable in at the gearbox and in behind the dials. Make sure the cable is fully pushed home.

Mine was the same, and it wasnt put in the gearbox end properly.

is it dropping back down to zero or sticking at a certain speed?

mine used to stick due to it bein parked up far a while a good tap sorted it, if not do as said above ^^

dropping to zero, then it will re catch and go up to whereever it should be, the other day i did 0-60 in less than a second.

yeah sounds like the speedo drive isnt properly connected have a check at both ends i.e gearbox and speedo head

as above push speedo cable in to boxd...and check the other end if that fails.. failing that new cable.. still failing that plastic speedo drive.

mine does the same, keesp working loose at gearbox end, very annoying!
