Not sure what box i've got but it was at 6.9k at 130

Did a test today and in 5th at:
80 = 4.2k
90 = 4.7k
100 = 5.2k

Does this seem about right for an f7r engine runing a valver box?

Presume the williams box has a longer 5th gear

Mine does just a tad under 120mph at the 7k prm limiter in 4th. not had it to the limiter in 5th yet! max ive done is around 140mph. Thats a recon JB3 box on around 30k!

all private runways of course!

ok since my mate in his scooby along side said he was at 140, and i was at 6.9k revs i can only conclude that i mis-read the clocks and i was actually at 140 :lol:

I think the ratios have been altered on mine when the LSD was fitted as it's bang on 3k at just under 60mph, is this right??

the standard cars nearly always read over. mine standard read 140mph when doing 127mph. now reads at 141mph when going a little faster. standard speedos allow at least ten percent usually in there favour gps is the way forward. mine use to max out at about 148 to 150 mph thats with uprated lsd and 245 40 18,s. this time i,ll be slower unless i get the rpm up as i,m running 235 30 18,s. still the 0- 60 will be quicker
