Guys... what is performance like on a valver and a williams as standard... i wana know...

Only joking lol I had one for a week but it got nicked. A standard one is slower than a Valver and to get a good one you need to spend silly money cos most are thrashed to ****.

i dont want a majorly fast car tho... just a bit of power behind the wheel!
and i think they look cute! and i dont want another renault! i have a few people which dont mind working on fords but refuse to touch my renault!
that table also says that its slightly quicker than a valver... obviously it has not chance round corners but that dont bother me! i'm a safe driver!

My mate had a standard turb then went to a standard Valver and the Valver was a bit quicker in a straight line.
Mine was ZVH'd so it was putting a fair amount of power out, bet the twats than nicked it enjoyed driving away lol

The seats aren't as comfy as the Clio and the handling is nowhere near as good but apart from that it was OK.
I'd rather have a Valver, the only thing thats not as good as valvers don't have dump valves hehe

exactly! i love the sound of the turbo... and the feelin wen the turbo kicks in! think i mite have to be nice to the ex and get a proper drive in his before i get one!

Apparantley the engine out of mine ended up somewhere down near you the police found it when they raided some lockups.
With a few mods they can be made silly fast but unless you get the engine rebuilt first they tend not to be reliable as most have been thrashed.

Yeah i've seen a fair few which have had the engine rebuilt in the last 20k... thing is i wont b driving it silly.. i rag my 1.4 coz its slow! i dont want a car which i can go stupidly fast in and lose my licence! i'll look after it! :D
Balls will you.....everyoen says that for teh first few months and then they end up ragging it everywhere.
I hate turbos simplke cus you have to be on boost all teh time to have any sort of power there, if you get caught off boost you have nothing

Yeh you won't be driving steady in it as soon as you feel the boost you'll rag it.
I prefer driving the Clio, but dump valves definetley emit some sort of love potion never pulled so much as in that week when I had the fez especially seen as I had a dump valve from America on it that sounded like a whale doing a bellyflop lol

If you really want a turbo buy a renault 5 gt turbo... much better (more tuneable) than the fiesta rst.. they rot for fun and dont handle!
just buy a valver 8)
frst's are good for spinning tyres and thats about it lol
what you need is a valver with a dump valve. out handles out performs and out looks( depending on taste)(or lack of it)(though beauty is in the eye of the beholder)(and i,m usually blind drunk) a fester turbo.
I dont like the look of R5's... i think they are ugly! I know they r wicked little cars but i wouldnt have one myself!
I just think i want something with a turbo engine... and preferably not a renault coz mine hasnt been the most reliable!

its shit......get an R5 GTT if you want a turbo otherwise a valver
I dont like Renault 5's! And i want a turbo! And i dont like the look of standard clio's hence why i kitted mine! but i cant be bothered with the whole kitting thing anymore! So if i get a Fezzie Turb i can change the bumper and wheels and its all set to go!!!!
if you want turbo why not go for a proper tubo car and get somethign RWD and Jap.....japs are the masters of turbos lol

Dunno......round Ty Croes in my 110bhp rsi i was alot faster than a trophy on teh corners and he was just catching me up by the end of the straights
My 1.4 is depressingly slow tho! Only good thing is i can lose all the chavvy corsa's and that coz it handles perfect round corners!
So i suppose wen i got a fiesta turb i'll have to be careful coz i'll end up smashin it round a corner!

Like i said i dont like the look of standard clio's! So a valver is out of the question really! Otherwise i would do an engine conversion in mine but its just not worth spending any more money on!
I've definately got my heart set on a fezzie turb.... nice alloys and an escort cossie front bumper and i'll be happy! just gotta wait a few months now!

Nooooooooo not a Cossie bumper they're rounded and the car is boxy. Just leave the bodywork standard slam it as low as it'll go and fit some Escort Gti wheels it'll look the biz.

Down here a MINT valver with low mileage is more like is more like £1800

RS turbos are slow in standard form, lozas GTI wipes the floor with em let alone the valver, i raced one one nite and he had to turn the boost up just to keep up with me lol :twisted:

fezzie turbo? oh dear! erm dont simple as, not bad cars but god do they show their age! thats what i like bout valvers, lower clios look their age, the subtle arches n vents in the valver keep it bang up to date imo, i still think it looks better than any small hatch since!

you want to be careful when buying a second hand RST...theres LOADS of dogs about. they will all have been dicked about with at some stage, and had their arses ragged to hell and back. and they will all have rust unless its been in the bodyshop.

I really wouldn't get one thats been modified unless you know the person who owns it. With chav mods like that white one has it is a fair assumption to say that it will be ragged to ****.
I only bought mine modded because I knew the guy that did the mods and knew it was a good car. As stan says theres loads of dogs around. You'll get a better car overall if you buy a standard low mileage one and mod it urself.
