Not hard at all, just 3 bolts.

However as with any job on these flaming cars..its in the hardest position to get to!!

Easiest may well be undo the dogbone mount and swing the engine forward leaving room from underneath to get the started motor up into position.

On mine there was 2 bolts on teh front of the starter, bolts holding heatshield on, and 3 bolts holding rear bracket on, and then 2 small bolts holding the bracket to motor.....took me ages first time

:D job done 8) took four hours to get the fooker out but hey thats life :wink:


what i removed -


3 bolts on gearbox side, 1 in the rear of starter, 3 on the engine block which hold on the t shaped bracketry, 4 for the heat sheild around oil sender, 3 on the starter heat sheild.
