lol they took aaaages to mask mish, the colour is gunmetal grey, it's a....
....rover colour :oops: :lol:
After cleaning and prep they've had 2 coats of primer, and i've just put 3 coats of laquer on. so will let them harden over night then put them on tomorrow morning :D
gonna leave the rims as they are for the time being but they will probably be done eventually 8)

Did you need to do much prep? Im in the middle of my 19 rims, and kinda wish i never started :lol:

no not really, they were refurbed just over a year ago so i just had to flat the surface down a bit and smooth over a few bits of kerbing and it was on with the job.

how did you get the caked on brake dust and dirt off the wheels so well ??

cheers mate, theres a couple of markes but i expected that doing them in thegarden, brake dust came off with scolding hot water with fairy liquid and scouring pad :D :lol:
credit where its due, well done. good effort and looking v good
good job dood, hope there done for tomorrow and i can see them in the flesh 8)

Prep, whats that lol my track wheels just got wiped over and sprayed with a couple of coats of hammerite

me n craig dont f about mate! :wink:
bit of a worry tho, came up m1 then onto chesterfield bypass, i topped out at 115 in 5th at 5.5k rpm......... :? :( was uphill n into the wind but craig got 130 in the willy before it died, this about right? or is the blue smoke a sure sign of the dreaded head gasket going again?!! :( :(
