Id love that convertion 8) . Wonder if the clio v6 engine will fit? You best search a few more French sites before you say it wont lol.

Cheaper just to stick some cams in a williams engine and see a genuine 170 bhp?

Yeah. Easier to get 170hp out of a willy lump than do the 172 convertion. Its still not 255bhp of the v6 though

But then the car doesnt weigh 7 tonnes
Would a williams with 255Bhp be drivable, I'd say 180-200 tops, what do the experts out there say :?:

It would be easier to get 170bhp out of a willy lump than it would be to get 170 bhp out of a 172 lump!!!!

**bump for the guy that was asking**
I beleive nick hill is doing a 172 conversion right now...
I beleive nick hill is doing a 172 conversion right now...
Like to see the results of that - I know what people are saying about it being easier with the willy engine, I kind of agree, I just quite like the appeal of a straight out of the box conversion with what'll be quite a newer engine and I'd expect easier to get hold of?
For a valver owner looking for 2.0l this might be a better, cheaper alternative?
All your paying for is the engine and the conversion - not engine work at the same time - and don't tell me you wouldn't mind a sub 40k engine cus I know I would!
Just out of interest, anyone know how they compare weight-wise to the F7R?
