Passed MOT today!!!!

Good news, she passed, had to put cat back on though, which has made it quieter but a bit slower too, so trying to decide whether to leave it on until i change engines or whether to put the de-cat back on tomorrow!

Just thought i'd let eveyone know!

btw i was thinking of getting rid of the cat after the mot but wansnt sure
is the power differnce worth the hastle ( is it illegal in any way if u get a pull during the year)

Take the cat off - you know it makes sense.

I think the coppers can use their discretion, usually based on amount of noise or what mood they are in or what score they are up to in 'snooker'. I think they can get you retested, but just say that you are waiting for a new one and the de-cat is a temporary measure. If worst comes to the worst, refit the cat just to pass the retest. No sweat.

I don't know of anybody that has been stopped on suspision of running without a cat. Christ everybody leaving macdonalds on a weekend would be stopped!!
