how long does it usually take for a water pump to go "POP" when its very very slightly leaking??

mine has started to leek very slighty and dont wanna ruin my head or anything like that!!

aye a cheap part at aroun £16 from eurocarparts

you get a card gasket with it also.. i used the gasket then sealed around the edges with gasket black

Might not be the pump that has gone mate, could be just the gasket.

Mind you it is a real bitch to get at. Everything has to come off before you can even get at it!!

It was a sh$t and I was doing it with the engine out of the car!! Christ knows how you would change it with the engine in...

typical french piece of.......sssshhhh don't let it here you

lol cheers mate, yeah i think it may just be the gasket as the car gets to the right temperature and its not doin anything out of the normal apart from very slight dripping from the pump area

i have to fill the reservoir bottle up every three weeks or so so its not too bad i just dont want it to go unexspectedly

imo if you can afford it, change the pump to save doin it later. it may brake in a week or a year
