Well i adjusted my throttle cable the other day as there was quite a bit of play in the pedal but iv encountered a problem a little orange bastard rubber thing has emmigrated from somewhere and keeps sticking under the cable thus causing the revs to stick where they are at that moment in time just wondering where the little bastard orange things belongs or what to do with it

orange thing in the middle of the picture goes to the black runner thing

any advice on what to do lol?

your orange "thing" needs to be pushed onto the end of the black cable sheild. it will fit. it should then stay there, and not pose a problem anymore.

anytime i do work on my car it pops off, and i have fun trying to get it back on and stay on!

this happened on mine too! It goes on the end of the treaded bit (going through the loop guide). I put a little bit of the orange silicone stuff in the orange stopper and stuck it back! Hope this helps
